Report to the committee in September
1] Lowsonford - 9th August installed a replacement timber footbridge for Warwicks County Council (WCC).

2] Dorridge Park - Boardwalk 5th September - removed and replaced broken footboards. Solihull MBC.
3] Tanworth in Arden - 9th September measured up and reported back condition of sleeper bridge and materials needed to refurbish. WCC.
4] Took part in the Warwickshire Rights of Way Improvement Plan Zoom Meeting 4th September. Peter Robinson of Solihull Ramblers read the current plan and sent Michael Bird Footpath and Countryside Secretary Warwickshire Area his thoughts. WCC.
5] Worked with WCC enforcement officer to get obstructed footpath re-opened and installed waymarker post 2nd September on the outskirts of Hockley Heath. WCC
6] Installed replacement steel framed and reconstituted plastic Bison bridge at Warwick Parkway 30th August. We have received 2 emails from local people thanking us for installing the bridge. WCC
A user of the bridge repair wrote to Solihull Ramblers "I’ve just walked my Labrador across the fields from home and go through the overflow car parks at Warwick Parkway where the bride over Gog Brook has been unstable for some time. Thank you so much for the new very stable bridge, very much appreciated.". This makes the hard work worthwhile!!
7] Erected closure notices on Bridleway and installed waymark post at Danzey Green on 9th September. We are carrying out the repairs to an unsafe bridge here on 11th October. WCC.
8] Chadwick End. Due to lay 20 off concrete slabs on part of footpath prone to flooding. SMBC.
9] Sambourne. Due to remove and install replacement sleeper bridge and fit new hand rails to a further bridge installed by the land owner. We are installing the bridge and handrails on 27th September making both bridges suitable for Tramper style mobility scooters. WCC.
10) Henley in Arden – 19th August. Inspected dilapidated footbridge (see below) and reported back to WCC regarding the condition and materials needed to replace. Work to be undertaken at the end of October.
